Did they identify themselves as Utes? NO. Did they leave
Utah 'stuff' around the scene? Not that we have heard.
It is most likely that the person who did it was a friend or relative. How did they know the owner of the car was a BYU fan?

The car was in a public parking lot where others could see what was going on to boot.
The most feasible explanation is that the entire story was fabricated by Beeker, so he and others could talk smack about Utah on CB. After all Utah is the single most popular topic on this board. Hands down. Not even the BigXII can compete with Utah as a topic on this board.
