being a true fan of the rivalry, I think I would, but if he ended up being a great player to be honest I'd probably say he was over-rated (we all get jealous), again being honest. But I think in person, a majority of fans on both sides of the aisle act respectful. In fall 2009, I was with my neighbor at Cedar Hills golf club (an old timer) who is a HUGE Y fan. Brian Johnson was there, and boy he went right up to him after calling out his name. I though "uh oh"....but he was great. Asked him all sorts of questions, was really polite to him. If you are a life long fan, then you've had BYU or Utah with you all of your life. I may not respect or like some of the fans, but there has only been ONE player from BYU I've ever despised or hated. If you are a sports fan, why would you be rude to the players?
