For me it would come down to how the guy acted once at the

rival school.

I think we can all get behind that. Only the morons would say that they don't respect a guy just because he goes to the other school.

As an example, I respected Eric Weddle a lot. Seemed and seems like a pretty darn good guy. Morgan Scalley, on the other hand, was a tool, and I'll probably never respect the guy for being such a moron.
