I don't know enough about Parker to comment, but I know that winning teams require more than guys who star. You need great character, morale, leadership, and you need guys who hustle, play great D, and do the little things. With that said, the kid averaged a bunch of points, was the 4A MVP and obviously can play a little basketball. For a program that has been so down, it is welcoming news. Hopefully Parker plays for Utah and they get back to the NCAA tournament and return to respectability and he is a big part of that. As for the impact on BYU, it shouldn't bother you at all. He didn't even have an offer.
