You've chosen not to read very carefully.....
There are still 4 slots open on the 2013 schedule, which I suggested would be filled by the WAC lite, as per usual.
I also stated that I would be happy to be wrong about that and hoped that Holmoe could do something about it.
Oh, and USU and Hawaii are both WAC teams currently and on the 2013 schedule. Just because they will be in a new conference doesn't make them better. The actual WAC may be gone soon but the teams will remain and just go to some other lesser conference, like the Big Sky, or be a bottom feeder in the MWC - which of itself isn't a terrific conference.
It will be interesting to see who BYU gets to fill the last 4 slots.
