My SIL didn't have a car but was in grad school so she registered my car on her account. Unfortunately I didn't wait long enough for the system to update before I parked in the G lot (they drove around with that plate scanning car and it only got like daily updates of the database). So I got a ticket. I tried to contest it, but the policy states that you can only park in the lot when the registered person is driving even if you are the spouse of the registered person (that's stooopid). Since I wasn't the registered person, the ticket stuck.
