Sure, there are some dominant pitchers from time to time, but overall, not so much. 33 wins doesn't come without a defense and offense. If it were a one-person game as you are want to suggest, you would see most of the outs would be strike-outs--and that simply isn't the case.
A suggestion, and I'm not trying to be facetious. Take a spring a watch every softball game you can and really learn the game. After that point, you'll see how much of a team game it is. If you watch over a few seasons, you'll actually notice the women's game is changing. For instance, more teams are starting to have specialist pitchers like a closer.
