That is the nature of his position.
He obviously isn't as good as Lebron. Lebron is a freak. Michael Jordan also a freak. Outside of those two throughout history, you would probably take an awesome big man first.

Lebron is the best player in the world.

I'm assuming that is a joke. Curry is best shooter ever

We'd be comparing him to Drazen Petrovic as a shooter if his career wasn't

Great shooter, but he didn't shoot off the dribble like Steph. No one does.

Lebron belongs in same tier as Jordan, Magic, bird, chamberlin, and Karim

Yes, right behind the one and only Bill Russell with Big O and DR. J in mix.

bill russell is overrated. really good player but overrated.

Underrated which is why i like him, until he is consensus greatest ever.

Russell was a very average offensive player.

I would add Hakeem to that list as well. best center of all-time imo.

Deservedly so, but if you were drafting a team that would play
kimdaddy35

He would go third. Durant has foot issues.

But as a player, if everyone is healthy...

That is the nature of his position.

He's definitely the first guard I would take.

So ahead of Harden?

I think so. I just like the way Curry naturally rallies his teammates and crowd

Easily. Less hero ball, more defense, better shooting, lifts everybody else.

Best guard. Anthony Davis is the guy you'd want if you were starting a franchise

I would take him 4th. Lebron, Durant (assuming healthy), Davis, then Curry.

Best shooter off the dribble in NBA history.
Shimmy
5/18/15 11:28pm
Bingo, that is what separates him from all great shooters.

Just goes to show you how much a big man's game the NBA really is.

5/18/15 11:58pm
I'm not sure that shooting off the dribble has been a prioritized trait. Without
Shimmy

I don't disagree as Curry is young and has a lot more to prove in order

steph curry was awesome last year too. He isn't who he is because of Kerr.

the ability to create his own shots & stretch the floor says otherwise
GA_Coug
5/19/15 6:34am
the warriors statistically were the best team in the nba last year without kerr
GSwarriorcoug
5/19/15 8:25am
I will say that kerr's system has reduced the wear and tear of a season worth of
GSwarriorcoug

I don't want to say that Curry is simply a "system pg" but that a PG who is
Shimmy

agree

5/19/15 2:58pm
Davis is probably the best player the next few years but I don't think that dude
