At least I think it was Swaim. At any rate, I think the decision makers may have already decided football only doesn't reflect a position of strength and as a result they (Big 12) aren't interested. I would at least assume he heard those rumblings out of the athletic department at Oklahoma...and while Oklahoma isn't Texas they do have a lot of influence...and Boren is the guy who has been saying they need to expand so it's not a question of expansion.

I think the Big 12 is looking long and hard about what strengthens their brand and brings stability. Football only may not support that.
