It doesn't sound good to me. Why would Holmoe comment on it, saying that it's
"not a viable option . . . for the time being"?
Sounds to me that it's something like, "we've explored all options and even looked at football-only membership with the Big 12 to see if that would help with some of the travelling concerns and Sunday play issues, but it's not an option right now. Maybe in the future that will change."
