If the Big 12 told BYU that it's either all sports or nothing then Holmoe would have no reason to say that. Instead, Holmoe would say something like "football-only membership wouldn't seem to fit" and leave it at that. The fact that he's hinting at some sort of hope that that might change doesn't give me warm fuzzies.

Until I see a press conference with BYU and the Big 12 announcing inclusion into the league, it's hard to read anything on this subject in a positive light . . . nothing in the past indicates anything good re: this topic.
