Renting a cheap tux = $100. Buying a cheap suit = $100
Why would you ever do the first?
I rented a tux for prom, twice. Both times were mistakes. The shiny lapels are tacky, bowties aren't as cool as 17 year olds think they are, the stupid winged collars look terrible
Go buy a cheap suit at H+M for the same price (maybe even less), and wear it 50 times before it gets thrashed.
