Or it's obvious role in the Tucson shooting, or the Denver movie theater shooting, or the Brexit stabber, or most other shootings. Paranoid schizophrenia in most cases, my friends, and it isn't hard to notice when a person has it, but nobody knows how to intervene or help. The families of the people who develop these conditions most definitely know, but the system is a wreck and there isn't a good way to help those with these illnesses.

This isn't as simple as a kid getting picked on so he decides to go on a shooting. The Sandy Hook shooter was over the top mentally ill. Comprehensive mental health screening and intervention is what is needed, not a bunch of uninformed people accusing kids of being school shooters.
