I'm with you, brother. Doobies were more versatile than most/all of
the 70's -80's. Even without the era of lounge crooner Michael McDonald, they had a wide repratoire -- Rock, country rock, soft ballads, rock/big band with the horns.

Arguably most of the best bands of the 60s, 70s, 80s (?) are all British. The 90s bands I listen to are also British
