Totally depends on where, when, who with, and how long. For a couple

nights with good friends (i.e. kids the same ages as our kids) and enough in the way of "fun" (waterfall hikes, fishing where you know you'll catch stuff, etc). Then it's great.

Otherwise it's just bored, sleep-deprived kids who make you wonder why you even try.
