Love it and hate it. Love it that the kids have no devices/screens and are
experiencing the outdoors, its what I grew up with and really enjoy. I think it is good for kids to realize they can have a lot of fun without it being tied to a video game or phone. I think mentally it is also just a great break and change of pace.
But I do really dislike the prep and cleanup after.....
To me, a cabin is the best way to go, but obviously that is a financial commitment of significance.
