How long after getting a cavity filled is it allowed to remain sensitive to H20?

Where was the cavity? Was it sensitive at all before? How long ago was it done?

Top left molar, it wasn't sensitive until the hygienist found it, and 7 days

Same here. I don't remember that being the case when I was younger. Kinda sucks.
