I watch such a little amount of TV that I have the opposite issue.
When there's an opening for tv, it's hard to decide what to pick and it's hard to start a big series because will I ever be able to get throw 50 episodes of anything?
I feel weird watching anything without my wife because if something is good, I'll want her to see it too. That means both of us need to be available at the same time.

Game of Thrones is one my wife insists we watch so I do watch that one.
She was excited for Outlander too, but we haven't seen any of the last season yet. It's been well over a year since we last watched an episode.

Our kids love the x files. We started watching that with them about a year and a half ago after we saw season 10 together and we are still on season 7.

Now that football season is getting ready yo start, T.V. time will be tied up again with that.

How do people with kids find time for non sports tv?
