It's wise to please the fan base that ultimately signs your checks.
I'm not saying kalani is insincere. I truly believe he is and that he loves byu. I think it's possible he stays here for a very long time. But it simply isn't logical to assume kalani is a lifer even if big names come calling with bags full of cash.
I love the guy. I'm his biggest fan. Search my history. I wanted him to replace bronco as far back as 14 or 15. I listed him as the probable repkacement well before bronco left. But I also realize he is an ambitious dude who is likely interested in advancing his career and moving on to greener pastures when/if the opportunity presents itself, as we all would.
