Unethical? Maybe. Tacky? Certainly! Bad Form? Absolutely.
Are we so strapped for money that we have to resort to a gift card loophole? It seems more greedy to me than unethical.
The entire purpose of a per diem is to cover expenses that would otherwise not be applicable if is wasn't for the travel requirements. If those expenses are covered, what are we milking the system for? A handful of dollars? Lame!
