a guaranteed championship appearance year on year, and a better shot at the G5 slot. I still think that the CFP should be 8 teams, with one at large, and one of them are top G5 champs as a play-in game.
That way the B12 gets a fair shake, the B10 or SEC could get two legitimate contendors, but then EVERYONE has a chance to play in the CFP. For G5s, you get included by winning your championship and beating the other G5. Then you can play for the gold if you win out.
