Obviously there were coaches that did not help with the culture, but you can't put all of the blame for team culture on the coaches he let go. If you're Kalani how do you let a lot of the off-field issues go unresolved for such long periods of time?
Bronco was great an instituting a culture of accountability. If a player messed up, there was going to be some form of punishment. IMO, I think Kalani thought the "best friend" approach would work and wouldn't let go when it was apparent that it wasn't going to work. When your team captains are holding players only meetings to try and fix divisions within, it's apparent that your HC style is not going to solve any off-the-field issues.
