Bronco was a fiery guy too. This was his signature and calling card. Yet once he became HC at BYU, he became subdued, often looked uncomfortable (some of this may be his personality, but again he was much more visibly intense in his asst coach yrs).
The last thing that BYU would want to do is make anyone (esp head coaches) feel like they have to fit a certain mold and change their personality to coach at BYU. This is not what the Gospel of Jesus Christ teaches, this is the opposite of what the church is preaching with how effective teaching/leading should be done, and is not what BYU admin should be doing either. I really hope that they weren’t so foolish as to “put a muzzle” on Kalani.
