Remember, the Tundra is riding a 2008 chassis. Chevy has gone through TWO complete generations in that amount
of time.
It would be embarrassingly bad if the other manufacturers haven't surpassed it by now.

The safety standards are always changing. It probably easily met 2008 standards.
