springs water. Drank the water in the river the last day of the hike. 3 days later I was sicker than I have ever been in my life.

Yes. While cave tubing I took in a decent amount of river water. It was a horrible experience

I never went to a doctor. It ran its course and after awhile my body course corrected

Might have been the insane diarrhea and stomach pain that occurred after ingesting all that river water in Belize

I don't remember pooping blood (I might have, just don't remember it). But it was some pretty serious diarrhea.
