Yes, it is. How difficult was it for you to get it diagnosed properly and treated?

I had it in Ecuador a few times. I had to do a feces test to find out what I had, then with 3 days of medication it was gone. About my 3rd time I self-prescribed. Probably not the wisest thing in retrospect, but I was sure what I had, and you could buy ANYTHING at a pharmacy without a prescription.

Yes. While cave tubing I took in a decent amount of river water. It was a horrible experience

I never went to a doctor. It ran its course and after awhile my body course corrected

Might have been the insane diarrhea and stomach pain that occurred after ingesting all that river water in Belize
