to make decent money playing basketball has lowered to the point that it has convinced multiple players to make the jump. Like with most things, it's not black and white. I think each player has to weigh their earning potential against what they are getting out of their college experience. It's likely that players of similar caliber are determining that they get enough out of their college experience at other colleges that they decide to stay. I'm guessing a certain level of dysfunction, small conference affiliation, and the honor code all play roles in that formulation for BYU basketball players.
