I am not sure what the disability she has or the reason for the dog. It is a full size poodle or something. but it is very wall mannered. It lays under the bench. They have been in our ward almost a year and I have never heard a peep, a whine, a wimper, etc. I have no issues, this though is a more obvious usage. She has a harness on the dog, all the signs that it is a service dog. Not some little chihuahua (no offense to to chihuahua owners and dogs) with a diamond collar and her own carrying case or stroller.
Businesses are in a difficult situation bc you don't want to ask the owner to prove it is a service animal but yet those that are obvious may not be what they appear to be.
Airlines have taken a very hard stance but they are able bc customers have to reserve their spot and typically won't being using the service for a couple of days to a month. So there is plenty of time for the airline to vet the customer and animal. Restaurants and stores don't have that luxury bc their customers are walk in.
