And this is why I wish I had been able to convince my dad to ditch his wealth management guy and go with vanguard
Not only has his wealth management guy averaged well below the market return over the last decade and a half, he also takes 1% off the top. He could have well over double what he does now. Small percentages over a long period of time turn into huge numbers.
