scout team the weak before a game and have them run plays similar to those you will see from the team you play next. Its because each team is different and plays different. If that were not the case than you would never run a scout team and you would just work on what you do expecting it to translate everywhere. This idea of a practice game is grade school analysis and makes no sense to anyone who has spent any real time around any level of football.
I'm sure the Utes used the first half to practice and then when they were down by 3 touchdowns they turned to each other and said "Let's start to play them the way we would have played them if this wasn't a practice game for Washington. Yeah, we should probably win now." I'm hoping against hope you are just trolling because if not I just can't even begin to know where to start with this.
