Except the run to pass ratio doesn't take one thing into consideration...
...there was a 19 min stretch in the mid 3rd to late 4th Q where we only passed 3 times while coaches got scared to throw the ball. Problem was when this went on we didn't have our only effective RB (Hadley left the game due to injury). Losing Hadley really hurt.
After we gave up the lead then we started throwing the ball the final 3 mins which made the overall run/pass ratio look more balanced than it actually was.
The game was lost during that 19 min stretch where coaches got nervous, we ran the ball 90% of the time and didn't have a competent RB to make it work.
