On average, they play the toughest schedule because they play each other and generally beat everyone else.

It is true they play at home more than they should be allowed. I am in favor of a home and home rule but that will mostly hurt the small schools in desperate need of a payout.

Still, they actually have the best assistant coaches, the most talent, and play the best football. I consider myself a mostly objective observer having no conference loyalty with nearly 40 years of college football watching experience.
