credit for beating "ranked" teams when those teams by years end aren't going to be really top 25 teams.

Are there really good teams in the SEC? Yes, there are. Are they as dominant as everyone thinks? No, not really; I think the competition in the B1G is comperable (see OSU and PSU this year).

I still think they need to stop it with pre-season rankings, and don't do any rankings until at least week 6; to see how good these teams really are. Then send out some rankings.
