on one of my muscle cars. The solution was to run it down to below 1/4 tank, then put fill it up to about half with e85. When I took it back in for the next test the carbon emissions (or whatever the problem metric was) was almost zero. The guy at the testing place apparently saw my previous result and asked me what the heck I did to drop it like that. I just shrugged and drove off.
