Pitta was an incredible route runner and was a master at creating separation
Harline was longer and was faster in space, but playing as an attached TE was not his core skill set. Pitta's body type and his ability to create space without having to run away from defenders made him much more successful at the next level.

Harline was a better pure receiver TE, IMO, but Pitta was more complete. Also Harline was derailed by injury.
