Gordon Hudson was a freak of all freaks as an athlete, maybe the best all around athlete to ever put on a BYU uniform that is how great an athlete he was. But he wasn't quite NFL size and blocking ability good enough despite being such a fantastic receiver and TE plus I think he got an injury that really derailed him for the NFL.

Harline reminded me of him although as good as Harline was he isn't nearly as good as Gordon Hudson was. Sometimes I feel like Hudson is a forgotten man in BYU lore despite being a consensus All-American and maybe the best TE to ever play college football. It is amazing to me how little he is discussed when BYU greats are brought up. That dude was an unbelievable talent.
