Magnetism is a property of all matter.
A magnet has a noticeable pull because the atoms of the object have been lined up so all the atoms have a magnetic pull in the same direction.

My kids could use a science lesson today. Maybe I'll have them prepare a summary

When one piece of metal thinks another piece of metal is really hot, it makes the moves.

Let's post pictures of magnets and then do a poll to determine which has the most magnetic strength

Pretty condescending to assume he knows what atoms are

No, that doesn't seem right. I am pretty sure only metals have magnetic pull.

There IS an attractive force between all objects. It's the reason you're stuck

I didn't realize that gravity and magnetism were the same.

Umm CDV does take his iron supplements, so he is made of metal.

Actually, most elements can be affected by magnetic fields (paramagnetism)

But why is it not helpful?

I'm no expert on this, but since nobody has offered an explanation, I'll give it
