We would have done it anyway as the breed we have tends be prone to exhibitionism (kinda funny...they love to lay on their backs...spread eagle) and we had no intention of breeding him anyway. 

There was just too much 'hanging brain' going on before we got him neutered. It's not entirely PG now...because you know...neutering only takes the 'berries' and not the 'twig' but it's definitely better.
