Ok, first of all, IT'S NOT AN F-5. Does it look like one? Yes. But it's a
Soviet knock off. Now, anyone that knows anything about Soviet military construction knows that the Soviets couldn't do anything small. So there's no way the Mig28 would be as small as an F-5. Do they look similar, yes, I suppose. But the Mig28 is closer to the size of an F-14 than you would think.
