BYU CAN'T act like a P5 for exactly the reasons I stated above. This is not a knock on BYU. It is not a plea for BYU to stay independent or to join the AAC. It is a recognition of FACT.

Not necessarily true. Some non P5 programs are better than the lower half of P5
