Winless last year with only two goals scored, started 1-3 this year, then won three in a row, but lost the last two tournament games. But 3 of our 9 games were on Sunday, so my son didn't play and I didn't coach, and those were three of our losses, including our last two.

It was a weird year. We didn't play a single game at full strength due in part to a broken foot on our best fullback, in part to lacrosse conflicts, and in part to Sunday games. All three Sunday games, we had one sub, and that was a guest player from a lower league. In our closest game to full strength, we beat a team that hadn't lost a game in two seasons.
