It really is a fascinating mess. I am glad that BYU is locked into the #2 spot. I would be very frustrated if our postseason chances depended on which teams cancelled on us and which games we were able to reschedule.

I feel for the "contenders" as arguments can be made for a lot of different teams for the 3-8 spots. If Saturday's games go as expected, the battle for #3, #4, and #5 will be very close between SMC, Pepperdine, and LMU and the third best team may really be Santa Clara.
