are so many incredible sleeping solutions for a good nights rest. Is it going to be your bed at home, no. But there is a ton on the market for a great, comparable sleep.
For backpacking, I use a thermarest backpacking cot, sleeping pad, and quality sleeping bag. The combination of those three, plus being worn out from hiking around gives me a great sleep. I bring ear plugs always and use them if critters or something else is noisy.
I had two or three trips where I was up every 15 minutes during the night. That was enough for me to look into better gear than I was using. It’s working out great...but I want to be outdoors so there is that.
