Retirement is really a socialist kind of mentality anyway

Not saying you can't do it or shouldn't do it in any case, but if I can work, I think I will work, even if only part time into my later years.

Charity/volunteer work could suffice if your financial needs are met.

People need a real purpose.

I have no plans on retiring completely.
