Has changed. It way more about “Brand” now. What schools have that? Stand alone brands that are not related to a particular club?

BYU has been forced into developing such a brand. Cincinnati and UCF have built some brand awareness on the field. Maybe Boise also, even though it sucks academically.
Vega$$$ has brand potential and the city is on fire with major league professional team reaching out and already here.
I don’t see too many writers who grasp this seismic shift since NIL, playoff expansion and rise of streaming, rise in cord-cutting.
Articles still seem in the old box of geography, cable and ignoring where NIL is headed (already at.)
Before everything settles the effects of the new paradigm will be fully factored in. I hope BYU will be proactive and in tune with shift, and get out ahead of it if at all possible.
