First, the BYU fanbase can say contradictory things because it is made up
of lots of people who all have different opinions. So among fans, there will be tons of voices shouting different things. To expect no contradiction among a fanbase is silly.
Second, he is contradicting himself by consistently overrating (by comparison to the rest of the voters) his Pac 12 schools and then underrating (by comparison to the rest of the voters) BYU even though BYU keeps beating his Pac 12 schools.
Unlike a fanbase, he is a single person and his views should be consistent. When his views are not consistent it simply proves right those of our fanbase who are calling him out on being biased.
