When selected for jury duty, whats the typical time commitment? When I was on a jury decades ago, it was a 2+ weeks

My two times were both 2-3 days. Totally depends on the trial.

I thought Id get the same. The opposite happened and I was eventually voted as jury foreman.

Depends on the case. The one time I've been called I was dismissed before noon. The trial was done that afternoon.

It really depends on the case. I’ve had murder trials take 5 months or two days.
