But when these past diseases were current & killing millions, were the vaccines mandated in order to keep your job?
I don’t know the answer to that.
But I’d hazard a guess that our overall tolerance for “top down” mandates and rules is different today than it was 50, 100, 150 years ago….so, one of the reasons there is strong mandates now for COVID (and there may not have been before for other diseases) is because those in power “can” now, because we accept it more now.
