most common word next to “the” was the f word. They may be passionate, but I was not very impressed. The family in front of me should have set a beer limit, by the end of the game I couldn’t understand a word he was screaming since his words were so slurred. I am pretty sure he will not even remember where he was last night. I am confident he spent more on alcohol then the rest of his trip. I hope he wasn’t driving and remembered to take his 3 year old child with him when he left the game.
The guy next to me reeked of pot so badly it was annoying and used player first names like they were buddies, he would not stop talking.
I was a few minutes late to the game, because of a horrible wreck on the freeway, and had to kick a Ute out of my seats, he did not want to leave and somehow believed since he sat their first he was entitled to my seat.
I found many, not all, of the Ute fans obnoxious. At halftime, when I was standing in line for food, I observed several different Ute fans put their stolen Ute sign in the face of Oregon fans…low class.
Having been to Rice Eccles and Cougar stadium it was the fan base I expected and come to know.
FYI, I did not wear BYU gear, and thankfully did not observe any BYU gear, unlike Ute fans showing up at BYU games in Ute gear.
Boring game, not competitive at all, Oregon is soft and terrible.
BYU PAC-12 champs 🤣
