I don't know. Most coaches would say that in the locker room, but there's no

good that comes out of it saying it twice on the air. I can't imagine Dave Rose sitting down after Matthew Dellavedova from SMC broke our hearts with that last second heave and saying twice, "We were the better team". A great coach doesn't make comments like that in public. He'll learn.
